Summary: This ryokan was a top experience of our two-week trip in Japan. Such a charming and unique oasis and glimpse of traditional Japanese life. The rooms and facilities are even better than pictured. An onsen is included in the price, and you can go as often as you'd like. We highly recommend their nine-course meal that you can reserve (for an extra fee) up to two days prior to your stay. They even accommodated our group member's gluten allergy. The ryokan is easily accessible by bus from Kanazawa station (the folks at the Tourist Information Center make it easy to find), and you're greeted by staff the minute you get off the bus, as the stop is right there. We cannot say enough about this experience. It was definitely worth its value and will forever be a highlight of our time. Thank you, everyone at Motoyu Ishiya, for making our stay a memorable one!
