Casa Cari is located at the southernmost point of Fuerteventura, by the Faro (lighthouse) de Jandia in the small fishing village of Puerto de la Cruz, also known as Puertito. It is located in a natural park in a small spit surrounded by the sea. The neither the coast nor the interior have been built up, and the thoroughfare between Puertito and Morro Jable is just a wide sand road (about 20 km). Casa Cari is right up close and personal with the sea, and faces the African coast opposite the end of the spit. The view from both terraces, from the living room and the bedrooms is nothing but the sea and the horizon, which rhythmically rustles in front of the house, changing with the strength of its ebbs and flows. It often leaves a small sandy beach in its wake, which sometimes turns into a small dune. Sometimes the house beach can recede from the sea, in which case you'll have watch out for stones and volcanic rocks. Otherwise, you can visit the sandy beach of the town and other bays.
